Just a handful of days ago while I was out at the mercado I ended up bumping into a man with our cart while I was daydreaming.

In the small neighborhood that I live in everyone is respected with everyone, and once I got into talking to this man I could tell that he was out of town.

In order to show how apologetic I was for running over his foot with our cart I gave him a cup of Dunkin Donuts Coffee on me, which is when we ended up going to the local Dunkin Donuts Coffee shop and enjoying friendly conversation, which led to us talking for nearly 2 hours. Apparently this wasn’t just some retired old guy, but the owner of the number 1 ventilation heating and cooling contractor in the state! He confided in me that he was down here because he is starting another HVAC contractor in the area… Just before all of us shook hands and headed for home, he mentioned that the HVAC ventilation heating and cooling contractor in neighborhood had way too many units they needed to get rid of in a hurry. Without even having to ask he set us up with the best AC equipment they had left, free of charge. This came to myself and others at the most perfect time as I had just moved to an odd condo in neighborhood that had AC equipment that was so noisy I could never sleep at evening. I have always enjoyed meeting others, and I can say without a doubt that this is the first time this skill actually got me a new A/C for free!
