The forced air Heating plus A/C device in our beach household was installed over 8 years ago.

I guess that doesn’t seem that long ago but over that time it has started to run more frequently plus for longer durations of time.

I was sad that the two of us needed to upgrade the HVAC component but the Heating plus A/C professional said that there were ways to make it run more efficiently without having to go for an upgrade. She said that a single one of the main reasons for systems having to labor harder is the buildup of dirt plus debris in the system of ductwork in the household. Since the system is 8 years old, it has had that long to have this build up occur. Both of us have youngsters, dogs, plus have done some renovations over the years so I am sure that all of that has added to the complication. She easily advocated a cleaning of the system of ductwork plus explained that they use powerful vacuums plus brushes to completely sweep any dust plus debris from the system… Both of us agreed to spend money for the service plus when they arrived to take care of the job I could not get over the size of the device that they used. What astounded me more was the nearly twenty pounds of debris they managed to pull out! This left me feeling completely embarrassed that our beach household was so dirty. They said that this was fairly normal for systems similar to ours but advocated that the two of us have it cleaned at least every couple of years or so. They also said that if the two of us did any projects or renovations the two of us should shut the system off if possible or at least cover the HVAC vents to avoid major troubles.
