When I daughter came lake beach house this past Wintertide for two weeks the two of us were excited to have her visit! Ever since graduating college she has lived in the town plus the two of us miss her a lot… It seems that her visits are farther apart plus the two of us realize that once she settles down they will be even less frequent, however part of the reason that she doesn’t come lake beach house is that she feels that living in the country is no longer something that she wants to do so the two of us were grateful for the time spent. I did notice however after a few afternoons that she seemed undoubtedly sleepy plus I wondered if she was having some sort of medical issue, however when I asked her about it one afternoon she said that she was having trouble sleeping because she felt uncomfortable in the house. I had to laugh when she said that she felt the beach house was haunted plus that something was trying to chase her away. I chalked this up to her overactive imagination plus the fact that she watches true life ghost stories all the time… She didn’t like my laughter plus said that she could know freezing drafts in the beach house plus hear different creaking noises during the evening; Of course these were definitely explained because the freezing draft that came from the air vents when the oil furnace kicked on was normal plus so or the creaking noises that came from the element heating up! These were all normal to us plus the two of us never even paid attention to them plus I know she didn’t either when she lived lake beach house many years ago. The beach house where she lives now has radiant heating in the floors so she never experiences any of that either.
