Refrigerant leak with a/c
Refrigerant leak with a/c
My hubby & I had been shopping for a apartment in St.
Octoberine, FL, for numerous years before my pal and I finally found a home that both met our needs & was priced within our budget.
The area is highly sought-after & expensive. My buddy and I were determined to own a apartment with a view of the water & historical charm. Our home was built in the mid eighteen hundreds. It still retains original hardwood floors, doors & moldings. My buddy and I just enjoy the big windows, wide front porch & gorgeous view. My buddy and I were able to afford the apartment because it had fallen into a state of disrepair, then replacing the roof, updating appliances & bringing the electric lines & plumbing up to code were the priorities. My buddy and I knew the central a/c would eventually need to be updated as well. The cooling system was blatantly nearing the end of its lifespan. However, the a/c met our needs without a problem for numerous years. About two years ago, in the middle of the summer, it began providing nothing however hot air. When I busy AC repair, the professional discovered a minor refrigerant leak. She commanded adding refrigerant, recharging the system & hoping it would continue to operate for another numerous years. The a/c was so seasoned that updatement parts were unavailable. I spent two hundred dollars on the repair. It lasted for one year, & then my pal and I had the same problem with hot air again. This time, I was unwilling to invest into another temporary repair. I decided the more cost-effective strategy was installing a new central a/c.
