We have made some fluctuations to our home over the past five years to make it more user-friendly, then by this I mean that my fantastic friend and I have expanded the bathroom to accommodate a immense walk-in shower that can be used in the event that my fantastic friend and I are no longer able to sit in there & my fantastic friend and I have made adjustments to the location of the laundry room as well. That used to be located in the basement & as my fantastic friend and I are getting older my fantastic friend and I have realized that my fantastic friend and I want to eliminate as many trips up & down the stairs as possible. While expanding the bathroom my fantastic friend and I had to use part of the small office space that was located on the main floor & then my fantastic friend and I converted what was left into an upstairs laundry room. The complication with the space is that it is located in the center of the apartment & there are no windows so my fantastic friend and I needed to be creative in finding ways to vent the dryer. Normally the dryer is vented to the exterior of the apartment but that was not convenient so my fantastic friend and I consulted with our Heating, Ventilation & A/C dealer in ways to have correct ventilation in the room. He was entirely able to design it in such a manner that it has been since right into the air duct & out the exhaust that is neighbord with our Heating, Ventilation & A/C system. My pal and I had to have a separate filtration equipment put on it so that none of the dust from the dryer would accumulate in the air duct & it was pretty clever how they did that as well. The system is similar to what is used in apartment buildings that are located in high-rise buildings as many of them don’t have access to an exterior wall either. My pal and I are entirely thrilled with the fluctuations that my fantastic friend and I have made & know that as my fantastic friend and I grow older it will be much easier for us.
