It seems that just about everything in my apartment has a remote control.

The obvious things like the TV, sound system, & cable box are just a few of them.

With modern technology there are remotes to control the dimming of the lights, the speed of the ceiling fans, & even my smart control unit. The complication with having so many of them is keeping them in a location where I can absolutely find what I need. I used to guess it was tough just trying to find the TV remote because it was usually stuffed down the cushion of the couch but now I am always searching for one remote or another; During the summer time time I like to keep the fan remote & control equipment remote close by so I can adjust them when I feel too hot or too cold, and unluckyly, there are other members of my family who want them close to them too. I have decided I want to put up a shelf in the living room that is dedicated to remotes only. This way they can all be centrally located where anyone can reach them whenever they want them. However, getting almost everyone to agree to put them back will be difficult. It is easy to get distracted & just put them down wherever you are & that is the largest problem. It is not fantastic to pay for a smart control equipment if you can’t find the remote to control it or the person who has it programmed into their iphone is not home. In that case you have to try to get a hold of them & ask them to adjust the temperature if you are not able to figure it out manually. Remote controls are a good convenience in this week’s mankind but only if they can be used when needed.
