I like to go and get a facial about once a month. Since I live in the city I am constantly on the hunt for the right facial spa near me. I am pretty particular on what type of service that I get. I want to get a dermaplaning facial service every now and then. This is where they skim a layer of skin off to get the imperfections. Acne is always a concern of mine. For the most part, my facial is just blackhead removal and cleaning up more pores. The dermaplaning is for when I feel like my acne gets totally out of control. A facial to me is more like a medical procedure. I am not there to listen to wind chimes and soothing rain. I don’t want to relax and be pampered. I want my skin to be scrubbed, exfoliated and cleaned. I want to see a noticeable difference in my acne scars, blackheads, and pigmentation. I found a great facial spa near me that I frequent a ton. They are awesome for doing the hardcore procedures guaranteed to last a long time and look fresh. The price keeps me away more than I would like. You get what you pay for with these guys. So when I can cough up the change, I do it. I feel it is necessary to invest in my hair, teeth, nails and skin. I am not getting any younger. Investing in myself is just smart. I don’t know how my skin would look without the care.
