They need to turn the thermostat down

Summer is my favorite time of the year. There are so many festivals, carnivals, and events happening. They are fun to attend with my friends and family. Unfortunately I don’t get to go to these events often. I feel like I spend my life working and do not get to do many fun things. I work the whole summer so I can afford college. Since I work often I spend a lot of time there with the same people. I wish I could say that it was a comfortable place to work. I wear three layers of clothing to work. It feels like I work in an icebox. The customers constantly tell me how cold it is and should turn down the air conditioning. Customers come in with only t-shirts and shorts on. The store should be a place to cool down from the warm temperatures outside. It almost seems like it is too much. Being outside feels better than being inside. The store is trying to make money but it seems like they lose it from running the air conditioning so much. The energy bills for the air conditioning must be really high. The HVAC system has to work very hard to produce all of this cold air into the store. They need to turn the thermostat down. They might even want to call an HVAC technician to help with the temperature problem. It seems silly to run so much air conditioning for people to feel uncomfortable. There should be someone standing at the door handing out jackets to customers while they shop.
