My prefer for cooking started when I was about eight years old when I would regularly go to my Grandparents home every Tuesday to visit them. My Grandma is Italian and all she would do on the weekends is bake and cook delicious Italian food. I continued to go over to her home every Tuesday until I left for school. I decided what I wanted to do through my Grandma. I wanted to be a chef. In high school I took some cooking classes and I signed up to go to a cooking school. I went to one of the best cooking schools in the country; Every time that I would come dwelling on breaks I would cook my parents something that I learned in school. I would try to cook the dinner before my parents got dwelling from work so it would be ready for them to eat. My mom knew every time that I was cooking because when you came into the home it would be really hot. I prefer using the oven and stove but it radiates a lot of heat into the dining room. Therefore my mom would go to the thermostat and turn it down so that the air conditioning could kick on. The air conditioner would be on for hours on end until my friend and I were done eating and cleaning up the dining room. Sometimes my dad would yell at my mom because my friend and I would have the air conditioning on for so long and my friend and I were wasting energy and currency when it did not need to be on! Despite how much energy it took for the air conditioning to cool the home down my parents still enjoyed my cooking.
