There is nothing worse than going on vacation and driving to your destination.

I thought it would be a good idea.

I thought it would be a good idea because my family and I could bond. We could go sightseeing on the way. It was going to be a grand old time. Well we were going somewhere warm. When we started getting towards the warmer weather, the air conditioning stopped working int he car. We continued to drive so that we could get there. Well, it was seeming like a long drive and we realized we were lost. We had been driving for several more hours. We even tried to figure out where we were on a map. We actually had to stop and stay in a random hotel for the night. We stayed there and luckily we picked the hotel whose air conditioning was completely broken. We were so exhausted from getting lost we did not mind that much. We took really cold showers before bed and we were set for the night. This vacation was starting to be a real bummer. I did not want to get back in that car the next day. I knew I was going to be irritable without having air conditioning. We do not even get it in the hotel. I was sleeping for awhile and then I woke up. I was sweating. The rest of the family was sleeping well. I went to take another cold shower just so I could cool off. I was ready to leave the next day but man was I hot.
