Now we are wondering if other buses are the same and if we will have similar experiences in the future

My sister and I have not used the bus any time in our lives because we have always been privileged enough to have a car at hand. Our parents would go out of the way to get us planes. Sometimes they would ride the train and we would travel out of state or even in other countries with them. We never rode in any of the town buses because our parents had cars and other diverse means of transportation to our disposal. To make it even more exciting is that we never rode a long-term bus like the likes of Greyhound where one should buy a ticket and then travel from one state/ town to another. When we wanted to visit a nearby city, it seemed like the cheapest way we could do it was by getting a bus ticket! Even at 25-years-old, we didn’t realize that this was a good way to travel and explore. The bus ticket was ridiculously cheap and we were starting to wonder if it was too good to be true. The bus didn’t even have a regular air conditioner inside. This is the middle of July and we could feel it inside that bus for the 3-hour ride we took. However if the vehicle simply had a better a/c system, we would have had a wonderful ride. It was very difficult to enjoy ourselves throughout the whole experience. Now we are wondering if other buses are the same and if we will have similar experiences in the future. Our concerns with their heating & cooling systems remain valid though. We still wonder if this is something normal or we would and if we would experience it in the past. Then again we’ve gotten on airplanes with terrible cooling systems too.
