I don’t know how we got so lucky. But the region we call home gets the very worst of both Winter and Summer. And the only thing we can do about it is keep the HVAC equipment in good working order. Of course, being a part of the HVAC service plan is all we have to do when it comes to looking after our residential HVAC. The HVAC service plan is centered around the seasonal HVAC maintenance our heating and cooling equipment needs. There are other perks to the HVAC service plan but the HVAC maintenance is certainly the focus. So the central air conditioning system in our home is taken care of but the rest is up to us. I think there is like maybe a 2 or 3 week break where neither the heating nor the cooling is on. So don’t blink or you’ll miss the Spring and the Fall. Yea, it’s like we go from heating the house to immediately cooling the house. You’d think that dealing with such a long, cold Winter would entitle us to at least a bit of a break with heat and humidity. But that’s not how it works out around here. Nope, the air conditioning is on and will remain so for the next 3 or 4 months until we get that two or three week break again. At least dealing with the worst of hot and cold makes us keep the house really sealed up tight. And that’s so important when it comes to getting the most efficiency out of our heat pump.
