We should be getting the cards for our company band in less than 4 days so we can finally begin handing them out to clubs plus bars.

The idea is to try to get a lot of gigs this summer. In the coming winter season we are going to head north to the mountains for shows in the ski resorts. It should be fun because we can also go skiing in the mornings in addition to doing our shows at night. It sure looked like it would be a pretty cool winter season for us if we could pull it off. I think we can do it if only we get the right contact with the clubs early enough. A furnace would be great to keep us warm. Alternatively, we could use a small portable heater, which is pretty much all we need to be comfortable while playing songs for the skiers. Who knows where life will take us with this singing venture. One thing we are sure going to try is to make something happen while we still can. I like working on HVAC systems but it can get boring over time, so playing songs in the evening in air conditioned clubs is always a refreshing change after a long day at work even though I enjoyed working at the HVAC company every week. I don’t know how people can endure 4 decades in the same job. In fact, it is not even about the compensation but more of job satisfaction. Thankfully, there is the option of singing as I worked at my HVAC company and this would make my next few years fun.
