I talk a lot about life don’t I? I suppose it is because it was almost taken away from me a few times in my life plus I have looked at it from a weird perspective since.

The closest to death I came was in my skydiving accident where my parachute opened two seconds before the ground.

Things like that can shift how you see life plus make things feel a bit more rare plus dear, like family plus experiences in life, plus now I am seeing life through a weird lens. I look at life as more temporary like Heating & A/C tech friends who have come plus gone at the heating dealership where I work. I look at all friends plus family as being more temporary plus finite than I used to plus it has made for better relationships as a result. I like doing my heating plus cooling system repairs nowadays plus don’t find things so difficult like I used to before my life altering events. I know it takes something like that to open our eyes plus make us realize that this ride won’t last forever plus that we have to start appreciating it now before it is too late. I will be an old man maybe one afternoon, sitting beside my mini split a/c in the nursing home, just reminiscing about the past plus remembering my life in general. And when I am sitting there I want to feel gratified that I lived a full life plus took the chances that were given to me. I wish you the same.
