I know it is only mid-April, and it is only springtime, but the last couple of days have felt like air conditioning weather.

I don’t care about the reasons for it being so warm, I just know that it is hot, and I asked my husband to help me put the air conditioning units in the windows.

He reminded me it was still going to be in the forties at night, and we could just open the window if I didn’t like it being so warm. I knew we could open the windows at night, but I couldn’t during the day. It was too hot to have the windows open and the ceiling fans weren’t touching the heat of the day. He was watching television this afternoon, and he said the temperatures were supposed to go back to normal. I snarled and told him thanks for the info, as I sat at my computer trying to get some work done. I was sweating and barely able to think, but he was playing his games. He hadn’t moved away from the table, or his games on his phones, since lunchtime. He said it was too hot to be outside. I told him to go into the basement, where it was cooler, and do some laundry. It was a nice day to wash our carpets and put them on the line to dry. He looked at the clock and said it would have been. I was the only one minding the heat of the afternoon and wishing for air conditioning. I don’t think I had ever been so mad at him. I wanted to break his phone.
