I work as an Heating & Air Conditioning repair and upgrade tech. Most days, I drive my vehicle to the office and pick a repair truck. This week the job has been close to my home, so my boss has been letting me take the work truck home at the end of the night. It saves gas for me to do things this way, because I’m only 5 miles from the job site. The Heating & Air Conditioning repair and upgrade shop is 50 miles from the job site. The first two days that I had my truck parked in the parking lot, there were no issues. On Wednesday night, my truck was vandalized in the parking lot. Someone spray-painted a substantial penis on the side of my van. They drew the penis in a spot on the van so it looks horrible and lewd. I did not see the spray paint until I got to the job venue the next afternoon. I wasn’t actually looking at that side of the truck. The vandals spray painted the passenger side. When I observed the vulgar display of graffiti on my truck, I left the job venue and immediately went to the Heating & Air Conditioning repair and service shop. My boss wanted me to fill out an accident report and he wanted all of the details that I could remember about that night. Sadly, I did not have a lot of information to supply my boss. I slept all night long and woke up the next morning to the paint on the truck. Unless the house parking lot had cameras, there wasn’t going to be anything that I could add.
