The police and the locals, who object to us playing music in the streets, are two issues we’ve been battling.

To perform in front of the public on the streets is a constant struggle.

On the one hand, some are observing and adore our music, and on the other, some are irritated and immediately call the police the moment they hear a note being played. My friend and I just want to practice anywhere, and playing in the street is a great way to get in front of people for feedback. If, however, the local business owners call the police every time my friend and I start playing, the whole point is defeated. But until then, my friend and I need a place to practice. My associate and I will figure this out. My friend and I think the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning company has a room we could play in, but no one would be there to watch us other than some HVAC technicians. To practice, my friend and I might go play there in the evening when no one is around. I’ll speak with the local business and ask the woman there if she knows of any climate-controlled spaces where my friend and I could practice that might have some people in them. Unless residents of that neighborhood call the police in a blink of an eye like they do here, my friend and I feel like we could move to another neighborhood and play there a few times a week. In order for my friend and I to play outside in the winter, my current business neighbor is going to give us a space heating system to use.
