As the sunshine beats down on me, I can’t help but be thankful for the comfort of my the air conditioner in my home.

This week, the men plus I were working on some road pavements that needed to be fixed after a long winter.

We get paid particularly well but sometimes this heat is unbearable plus my friend and I need to take many breaks in our trucks. This week, it was a bit different! My air conditioner broke in my truck so there was nowhere to escape the heat. I would rest in one of my colleague’s trucks but they don’t take care of their trucks. They are supposed to be wash but there is clutter plus old food wrappers in their passenger seats. I just don’t want to take the occasion of getting sauce or whatever on my pants standing in their trucks. I brought plenty of frigid water but as the morning went on that honestly wasn’t frigid anymore. It was going to be a long day plus the only saving grace I had was lunch, but lunch was something I was looking forward to. I honestly wasn’t seriously hungry although I needed the air conditioner to cool down my body. Lunch arrived, my friend and I walked into the closest restaurant plus I could feel the air conditioner pour onto me plus it felt magnificent. We took an extended lunch that day because of how tepid it was plus during lunch one of my buddies started to wash out his passenger seat for me. I hope he gets that wash but if not I’ll just have to strenuous it out plus when I get home, turn on my central air conditioner; Overall, I’m thankful the state pays well plus before I leave lunch, I have to fill my water bottle with lots of ice plus frigid water.
