Carol and Beth have been roommates for 5 years now, and they love living together.

They even managed to retain their apartment during the pandemic when many people had to move back home.

The two have known each other since college, and they love their living situation. They’ve had other people wanting to rent the 3rd bedroom in the apartment, but they chose to leave that as their office. Beth works in an office in the city, but at times she has to bring work home, and she likes being in their office. Carol works from home after she lands remote jobs in college. She’s always loved writing and is even working on a book, so remote jobs are the best for her. This is one of the reasons they opted to leave the third bedroom as an office. Carol gets there at 7 am and begins her work day. But there are times she is there from early because she has so much to do and her boss needs results. She writes blogs for HVAC websites, and now works for several clients. Beth tried doing the remote jobs, but she only manages to do a few each month because she has a busy full time job. Well, at least the HVAC blogs help Beth pay her share of the utilities in the house. But, for Carol, this is her full time job , and she works for 3 different companies. It’s hard because she has deadlines, but she is also happy she never has to deal with traffic and crazy weather heading to the office. On such days, Beth is always grumpy.
