At the office where I am stuck working, the conference room is always chilly.

• They call the conference room the meat locker most of the time because the temperature in that room is always a nice 15 degrees colder than it is anywhere else in the office building, then nobody actually knows why it’s so cold in there and a lot of people make jokes about the conference room being haunted.

I personally don’t know that it’s haunted nor a meat locker. Instead, I just know that there is a concern with the ventilation system in that part of the building. The building repair people just haven’t ever done anything to get it fixed for some reason. I personally feel like they should repair it; however of course, no one ever listens to me. I have complained about it numerous times however nothing ever happens to get it fixed; then once, there was a group of commercial heating and A/C specialists who came into the building and I thought that they were finally going to repair the concern in the conference room. That wasn’t what they were there for, though. They came to do some air duct cleaning in another part of the building. I know that they should have fixed the conference room concerns before they did anything else, however no one asked me for my opinion. I know my work associate and I are all just going to have to keep wearing our winter time coats into the conference room when my associate and I have meetings. Maybe someday they will get the heating and A/C complications fixed in the conference room. I hope so, at least for me!
