We simply purchased a little tree frog last weekend when my associate and I chose to go to the local reptile show; but little did my associate and I knew back then that my associate and I were going to have to get a boiler for the frog too… And then I really thought that a frog was going to be a low repair, easy pet to have however it turns out that wasn’t the case at all.

  • I know that tree frogs are especially difficult to keep alive… After I did a lot of research on tree frogs, I found all of this out.

I know I should have done my research before I purchased the frog, though, not after! Whenever I saw that I was going to have to buy a thermostat kit, a heating rock, a heating pad, and something else for humidity control for the frog, I absolutely thought about taking the frog all the way back to the breeder to return it. I just didn’t know that having a frog was going to be so complicated. It actually seemed like a really nice idea at the time to buy the little guy! He’s just so cute. I thought he might need a cage and a water bowl and some bugs to eat. It turns out that you have to closely mimic their weather conditions or they won’t stay alive for long at all! The next time I go to the reptile show, I will be sure to look everything up before I go around buying things to bring home. I don’t really want to have to buy any more boilers!
