I’ve been living in my house for the past 19 years. 12 of those years I lived here with my husband and the other seven years I have been here by myself. My husband and I decided to get a divorce after being together for 15 years. I really wanted this house, so I was happy to give him a divorce as long as I got to keep the house. One of the best things about the house is the pool. The backyard is all mine and I don’t have any neighbors behind me. There will never be any neighbors behind me either, due to the fact that the area behind the house is owned by the electric company. I’ve had to start making a lot of repairs now that I’ve been in the house for almost 20 years. I’ve already had to replace two HVAC systems and now my pool needs a new gas heater. I have a separate gas heater for the pool. It works out better for me because I added heat to the pool after the HVAC system in the house was already installed. The contractor seemed to think it would be easier to have a separate gas heater and I think it works out well too unless there is a problem with the pool heater. It would be much easier if they were all running on the same system when it comes to repairs. I have a special contractor that is HVAC and electric certified for pools. I use the guy for everything. He’s going to come replace the gas heater next weekend and I might get him to give me an estimate on a spa.
