In their homes, my parents have more technology than I do.

They have an Alexa, a robot vacuum, a touch-screen toaster, a smart coffee maker, and a smart air purifier in addition to a Ring doorbell.

They received most of these gadgets as gifts from my siblings and me over the years. As long as they made their lives much easier, we all agreed to buy them as many gadgets as possible. They, after all, are getting old and I like seeing them being comfortable. For instance, the robot vacuum can reach areas that would be challenging for my parents to access, such as underneath the bed. They can monitor package deliveries at their residence thanks to the Ring doorbell. They can ask Alexa for immediate information like the current weather outside. My siblings and I have already decided that the Smart thermostat will be their next gift because it is the only gadget they haven’t yet received. The thermostat will not only help to make my parents’ 4-bedroom house more comfortable, but it will also save them a little more than $100 a year on their energy costs. They can access their HVAC system from anywhere in the world thanks to the thermostat’s compatibility with Alexa. The smart thermostat will make the appropriate adjustments once it recognizes my parents’ movement inside their house. It might take a little time to get their desired temperatures accurate but this will be a very nice addition for them. I only have this one smart device in my home, and I adore it because it has controlled the temperature without compromising my comfort. Additionally, it’s a simple device to use, which has greatly simplified my life.
