I wanted to imagine moving away from my city life would bring me so much joy and peace.

See, all my life I’ve grown and lived in such environments.

At one time we lived in an apartment which didn’t have any play area. So, every now and then, my folks would take me to the park. Also, I liked being in school since we had a playground and I’d play with my friends. I’d also look forward to visiting my grandparents since they lived on a farm with many animals and lots of freedom. Well, now as an adult, I found myself craving the same, so one day I began searching farms for sale, and found one in a different state. It took about a year for me to relocate because of some upgrades. I hired an HVAC corporation to do some work with the ductwork in the house. And also I wanted them to install new heating and cooling systems. I wanted a heat pump that I could use in summer to cool the house and winter to heat it. The HVAC professional who came to the house to do the job mentioned a heat pump wasn’t the best system for winter. However, I’d been using it in the city and thought it was. So, I asked him to install the heat pump since it was the unit I chose. Well, come winter, and I was eating my words. Perhaps I should have gone with a gas furnace as the HVAC professional had suggested because the heat pump wasn’t sufficient. I had to light a wood stove to keep the house warm.
