Working on a farm without any heating
It’s definitely hard to work on a farm when the weather is bad.
I mean, it’s strenuous enough during the best of times and when the weather is nice.
It’s hard physical labor, that’s for sure, and there are just not many people around these days who are willing to do strenuous work like that of a farm job. However I am one of those people who likes that kind of thing, so I am definitely enjoying our tasks. I do find it hard to work outside all of the time whenever the temperatures are too extreme though. I think that is the hardest part about laboring outside at the farm. If it wasn’t for the fact that the temperatures outside get too hot in the summertime and too freezing in the winter, I think that the farm would absolutely be the perfect job for me. I definitely like working outside most of the time rather than being cooped up inside. I also like working with my two hands and being around all of the animals. I have found that I definitely like horses and being around goats, as animals have such fun personalities most of the time. It would be very nice if they had buildings that were controlled by central heating and cooling systems so that I could go in to get warmed up when it’s too freezing outside. None of the buildings here have central furnaces in them, though. When it’s freezing outside, we usually have to go to the main office in the main barn where there are a couple of electric space heaters plugged in.
