Okay, just a bit more about my older brother. He’s only one year older than I am yet has no friends to come see him while he is here visiting like I am. I know he’s been gone for quite a while living overseas, but he grew up and lived here for ten or so years and made no long term friends during that time. I guess he’s just been living away for too long and just didn’t keep in touch with any friends after moving away, yet I was able to keep a lot of friends myself. My heating and cooling supplier friend tried to make friends with my brother while he was here working on my mom’s HVAC system, but my brother just didn’t open up to him so my friend gave up. I even feel a distance from my brother myself and I guess he is just a more introverted kind of person. This local business helps people with problems like that but I don’t know if my HVAC technician brother is even open to trying to get help. I guess the person needs to have the itch inside to get help themselves and you can’t force it on them. Anyway, today I am going to have friends over later for a fire in our outdoor fireplace, along with a little heating help from some gas heaters outside. It is going to be a cold one tonight and we are going to have some fun with the bonfire and reminiscing about the old days of high school and beyond.
