We are running a great special at the HVAC company where I work.

They hardly ever run specials there and I’m kind of glad that they are finally doing it.

I guess we never really needed to run any kind of a special before because we have a really great customer base. We haven’t really needed to advertise or run heating and cooling tune up specials because we have always had enough business to keep us busy anyway. However, I have always thought that running specials is not only a good way to attract new business, but it’s also a way to thank your existing customers for their continued patronage. Maybe I am just old school, but that’s the way that I always thought about it. That’s one thing that has always bothered me about the HVAC company where I work. I have mentioned this to my bosses on more than one occasion, and I finally must have gotten through to them about it. The other day I came into work and they had a meeting with all of the HVAC technicians and office staff and they told us that they were doing it! but I was pretty excited about it because I knew that it would be a welcome change for our existing customers. I also thought that they would want to take advantage of the special pricing on the heating tune up for the winter. I really hope that it works out and that it ends up being a win-win for everyone involved. Hopefully if that’s the case we can run more HVAC specials on a regular basis.
