It would be so nice to live in a region that didn’t need any HVAC unit.

I realized recently that there is no region that can be comfortable without an HVAC unit.

There may be a few places that have nice temperatures, but they are always followed by too much sun or rain. In fact, we survive with our air conditioners and our furnaces everywhere we go. If we were to go to the North where the temperature never gets very warm, then we would have to rely on the heating system throughout most of the year because of how chilly the temperatures get. If we were to travel farther south, then we could ditch the heating system, but we would need an air conditioner to stay cool while the sun is shining year-round. And if we tried to find a nice middle area with no extremes, then we would like to need both an air conditioner and a heating system. I personally don’t think that there is an area on the earth that exists where you don’t need an HVAC system but where you also don’t have to worry about extreme weather or natural disasters. There is no perfect place, because if there was, then nobody would want to live anywhere else. Our lives aren’t perfect either, and we are constantly making little adjustments here and there. Maybe the HVAC units that we use help us to understand things. We may not choose our circumstances, but we can learn to thrive in them. Just like we can learn to like our home if we use HVAC units.
