During the Summer weeks, there is a great risk of having hurricanes plus tropical storms, and when these storms occur, there is a lot of wind plus rain. Wind plus rain can cause a great deal of troubles when you are close to the water. More rain causes flooding plus the wind causes trees to topple over, then last year while I was in a single of these storms, a tree toppled over plus took out all of the power to our city. The tree fell in the beginning of the storm plus cruise were not dispatched to repair the problem until after the storm passed. Every one of us were without any power for a while plus we were also without AC. Last year was the last time that we spent a Summer without a generator… Having to go without AC is a immense problem. During the Summer weeks when we have to deal with hurricanes plus tropical storms, it is definitely in the ’90s. It does not get much cooler than that while I was in the night time hours either, because the humidity is awful. It’s impossible to sleep without air conditioner. I tried it for 3 afternoons while I was in the time when we were without power, and as soon as I got paid, I went to the hardware store to look for a generator. They were completely out of stock. All of the generators online were overpriced. I had to wait until after the season was over, but then we found a single that was on clearance. I am ready for this year’s storm season. I won’t be going without power or air conditioner again.
