I personally do not love the rain.

My husband disagrees with me and the rain is his favorite weather.

I do not love the rain because I am someone who loves to get things done and rainy days make me feel lazy. Whenever I have to go to work and it is pouring rain outside, all I want to do is stay in bed. However, I do enjoy a rainy day from time to time if I am off work and I have no errands to run or any serious responsibilities that day. I recently experienced a lazy rainy day and it was just what I needed after being so busy for so long. It was a cold day outside and my smart thermostat turned the heat on based on the outside temperature. It was raining really hard and there were dark clouds outside. I put the fireplace on as well because it was so cold. In my living room, there are double sliding doors that lead to the backyard. I was watching the rain drops hitting the plants outside. I got under a blanket, even though the heat and fireplace were on. I made some hot chocolate and started to binge watch my favorite shows. The rain in the background was soothing. The central heat and the warmth from the fireplace made me feel comfortable in my home. I lost track of time, but before I knew it I was on the couch for five hours. Sometimes cold and rainy days are signs that you need to rest in your home.
