The local cooling corporation had a draw where players would stand a chance to win different HVAC equipment.

Some of the equipment in the draw included thermostats, air filters, free air conditioning repairs, and discounted installations. The grand prize was state-of-the-art cooling equipment that they would announce at the end of the week. Like everybody else who signed up for the draw, my husband and I were hoping to win the grand prize for a couple of reasons. We wanted to replace our cooling system as the one we had was consuming too much energy and racking up the energy bill but barely providing help with indoor comfort. The cooling industry was creative with every year that passed. It was also good to see many people participate in the draw as it showed that people had become familiar with the company and its cooling specialists who know more about air conditioning. We prayed when we chose our draw number and hoped it would be the winning number. I called the local cooling specialist and booked the installation, as I hoped beyond doubt that we would win. We needed to win! When the day of the draw finally came, I was in high spirits hoping to win, and we did! The air conditioner was a mini-split air conditioner. I had just read about the particular system and loved it since it would help us lower our energy bill. I called the cooling tech and gave him a go for the installation. My husband and I were elated that we had won a quality air conditioner for free, and the installation fee was quite affordable. It was a good day for my family.
