And that’s what I try to keep in mind when their behavior can get a bit aggravating. My mom as well as dad are now in there later seventies as well as have moved down to live closer to me. I moved to the south when I went to school as well as have never left that a/c comfort behind. But mom as well as dad lived way up North as well as that has all they knew their entire lives. So Winter consistently came with a boiler when they were youngsters as well as a gas oil furnace later on. But as they got older, they just easily couldn’t manage the hot as well as cold temperatures, the snow as well as ice. So it was time for them to get down here in the sunshine as well as appreciate the type of mild Winter where the heat pump barely even comes on. But that has come with plenty of transitions for those two appealing people. It’s a lot to go from a large home with a gas oil furnace to a two family room home with a heat pump. And there have been some bumps along the way. In fact, I got a call from our mom who sounded frantic because Dad was going to take apart the heat pump. Well, that heat pump is brand new as well as if Dad even touched it, he would void the warranty. So I hustled over there to see if I could put a stop to that before there was no more Heating plus A/C warranty on the new heat pump.
