As I have settled into our retirement, I have l acquired to be a lot more chill about things.

I used to be a type A personality, a real control freak that needed to be in the loop on everything that happened. Now I am certainly content to rest back and let the experts handle what they trained for, and to not let things become our problem. In the past I felt care about I was regularly putting out fires, now I realize I should have l acquired a long time ago to let the fire fighters of the world handle those things. Take our house Heating and A/C method as a recent example of this. In the past I would have had numerous uncommon inspections done, and made sure to follow each of the Heating and A/C techs around to see what they were doing. Now I am ancient enough to realize that I am not an Heating and A/C professional, and not qualified to supervise them, so I should just leave them to it, then did I ever think that our AC would get fixed faster because I was hovering over the workers? I think I did, but now I am content to say hello the AC tech and then leave the house and let them get the work done in peace. This approach works for heating and cooling repairs, but it also works for just about every other aspect in life. If someone is a pro, then let them do what they trained for, and if you don’t think how to service cooling systems then you best stay out of the way!
