Bad ductwork means a turn toward ductless heat pumps
Bad ductwork means a turn toward ductless heat pumps
Either I started over with new ductwork which would add so much more expense or I went with ductless heat pumps.
Being a homeowner is even better than I thought it would be and that’s sure saying a lot. I just love the fact that I’m no longer having to pay rent for poor quality heating and air in an apartment. But then again, I didn’t live in a real upscale apartment in order to save for a downpayment. I had to live very economically when it came to housing in order to save. But all that poor heating and cooling, loud neighbors and limited square footage is now a thing of the past. My new house may not be huge or fancy however it’s mine. And I have finally gotten all the HVAC equipment sorted out. Although my heating and cooling situation was certainly a challenge. Initially, my plan was to replace the central air conditioning unit and that would be that. But the HVAC contractor found out that the ductwork wasn’t going to be up to the job. That meant I had to make a decision and make it fast. Either I started over with new ductwork which would add so much more expense or I went with ductless heat pumps. It seemed to me and to the HVAC contractor that the best thing to do was go with the ductless multi split option for heating and cooling my new house. I’m so pleased with the results of the ductless heat pumps I’m glad that we were able to stay under budget with our heating and cooling renovations. Plus, I love the fact that we can set the ductless heat pumps individually to produce a sort of zone controlled HVAC effect.
