How pets will affect your indoor air quality

My pets are part of me.

I would not trade my furry friends for anything in the world, but that is not to say that they don’t come with their share of challenges.

The most unexpected one had to do with the HVAC system. After getting two dogs, the air quality in my house changed. I learned from the HVAC professional that I had to change the air filter more often than I previously did. It was all new to me, and I was learning in the process. After a while, I realized it would take more than my HVAC equipment for air purification. I sought advice from a home service company. The HVAC technician I consulted advised me to upgrade to a smart HVAC. I told him that was not an option for me at the time since I had to pay for surgery for one of the dogs. The alternative was to install a separate air purification system. The system would enable me to achieve the desired indoor air quality. Other than the whole-home air purification system, I would also need to carry out duct cleaning. It was to get rid of the pet dander, dust, and grime in the vents so that the air circulating in the air ducts would not carry dirt and other unwanted impurities. After that, the air purification help would do the rest. When he finished all the purchases and installations, the change in indoor comfort was noticeable. It was so pleasant that I wondered how I had survived previously with the state it was in. There was more that came with owning dogs, but it was well worth it. My two dogs were my babies and, quite literally, the apple of my eye
