Laughter isn’t always the best medicine, it turns out.

Laughter isn’t always the best medicine, it turns out.

I saw the Heating plus Air Conditioning service tech get out of his service van last week, when he tripped plus fell on his face.

  • I was distraught he had gotten hurt, plus was hoping he hadn’t tripped on a toy our kids had left on the ground.

After rushing outside to check on the guy, I heard him laughing as he picked himself up off the ground. Jim said he had tripped over his shoelace. His mother plus spouse were always yelling at Jim to tie his shoelaces, or he would fall plus get hurt some day. I assumed he hadn’t hurt himself because of how hard he was laughing. He told me that laughter is always the best medicine, but when if you can’t laugh at yourself, who else can you laugh at? I showed Jim to the basement where the furnace was, however I kept listening to make sure he was okay. I heard Jim the Heating plus Air Conditioning serviceman talking when I was over in the laundry room. Jim was laughing plus telling someone how he tripped over his shoestring. Jim said he was fine, plus his dignity was still intact. Jim came upstairs shortly after that plus said he had been talking to his spouse. She thanked me for not laughing at him, but also wanted me to tell him that a safe Heating plus Air Conditioning service tech always tied his shoes before getting out of or into the service van. I told Jim I was distraught about him plus overheard his conversation when he was really working on the furnace. Jim said that was another 1 of his faults; he had to call his spouse plus tell her about the various blunders he made while working on an Heating plus Air Conditioning system.
