Indoor air quality is way more important to me than a new TV, and of course I didn’t know that I was going to have to make that distinction when I did.

• I was having some issues with the TV in our living room, and I was thinking about buying a new big screen TV.

I wanted to pay cash for it because I’m trying to stay out of debt as much as I possibly can. I had been saving up for the new TV that I wanted, which was an absolutely giant one with all kinds of bells and whistles on it. I was preparing to go to the store to purchase it when I noticed that there seemed to be something wrong with the heating and cooling unit in the house. The weather has been cooling off quite a bit lately and so I had already turned on the furnace. The furnace was running, however to me it did not seem like the temperature in the home was heating up much at all. I was starting to feel that I must have been sick or something because the heating was running. I could hear the fan and everything, but then when I went over to check the temperature on the control unit, it showed that the temperature in the home was only 64 degrees. That was odd to me because I had the control device set to 72 degrees. That was our first clue that the heating and A/C unit was torn up. Over the next couple of afternoons, things with the heating and A/C unit just got worse. That’s when I ended up calling the heating and A/C corporation to schedule a heating and cooling repair. I guess that the new big screen TV will just have to wait.
