Indoor air quality is way more important to me than a new TV.

Of course, I didn’t really think that I was going to have to make that distinction when I did.

I was having some issues with the TV in my bedroom, and I was thinking about buying a new one. I wanted to pay cash for it because I’m trying to stay out of debt as much as I possibly can. I had been saving up for the new TV that I wanted, which was a really big fancy one with all kinds of bells and whistles on it. I was preparing to go to the store to purchase it when I noticed that there seemed to be something wrong with the heating and cooling system in the house. The weather has been cooling off quite a bit lately and so I had already turned on the furnace. The furnace was running, but to me, it did not seem like the temperature in the house was heating up much at all. I was starting to think that I must have been sick or something because the heating was definitely running. I could hear the fan and everything. But then when I went over to check the temperature on the thermostat, it showed that the temperature in the house was only 66 degrees. That was weird to me, because I had the thermostat set to 75 degrees! That was my first clue that the HVAC system was torn up. Over the next couple of days, things with the HVAC system just got worse. That’s when I ended up calling the HVAC company to schedule a heating and cooling repair. I guess the new TV will just have to wait.
