If you ask me, the holidays really need to have a fireplace.

Fireplaces are always so cozy, and they just give you a feeling of warmth and security whenever you sit by them.

I found that this is especially true during the holidays. I personally don’t think that Christmas would ever be the same if I did not have a fireplace with a nice crackling fire burning in it on Christmas Eve. I have always felt this way about fireplaces, ever since I was a kid. When I was a kid, we had a wood burning fireplace in the living room of our house. My dad would hardly ever put a fire in the fireplace, even though I begged him to all the time. He would say that fires are messy because of all of the ash and soot that gets all over the place. But as a little kid, I thought that fires were absolutely magical. I still feel that way today now that I am an adult. Whenever we were on the lookout for a new house, one of the things that I was most interested in finding was a house with a large wood burning fireplace in it. I just don’t think that you get the same aura of magic with a gas log fireplace.Probably the main thing about that is the fact that you don’t get the same smell of wood smoke. Anyway, whenever we were looking to purchase a house, a fireplace was at the top of my list of things that I wanted in a new home.
