I gave it my best shot but I think my smart thermostat is not so smart anymore.

I thought I could fix it, but I guess I’m not as smart as I thought I was because it still is not working correctly.

There’s something wrong with it and it is not controlling the HVAC system correctly and I’m having to adjust it manually all the time. It’s not worth having an HVAC Tech or specialist come out to fix it because they will charge me more than a new one would cost, so I guess I have no other option but to toss it out and buy a new one. I think they would charge me a couple hundred dollars to come out and fix it and I can buy a new one for probably around $50 so it’s pretty much a no-brainer. The heating and cooling supplier down the street is having a sale on all of their smart thermostats and some other things in the store, so I will go check out to see what they have on the shelves. Maybe I can buy a new HEPA filter for my central heating and cooling system because the one I have now is getting very old and it needs to be replaced soon. This might be the perfect time to do it because they have a store wide sale on everything, to get rid of the old inventory and bring in the new stuff. My one friend works there as an HVAC rep and he told me to come in anytime and he will help me out with whatever I need.
