Killing the little insects in our home
Killing the little insects in our home
Last year I made one mistake.
I had bought a bunch of bananas from the grocery store and I left them out of our counter.
Throughout the week the kids and I ate nearly all the bananas except for two! When I bought the bananas they were already fairly ripe so it didn’t take long for them to beginning going bad! Unfortunately, the remaining bananas that were left out started to rot. I had asked our kids to throw the seasoned bananas that were no longer any nice away, even though I guess they forgot to because they were still out in the bedroom, and now ever since that day I have had annoying tiny little black bugs buzzing around in our house. I think they’re fruit flies or some genre of gnat however I am not absolutely sure, and all I suppose is that they have got to go, I have spent the Last weekresearching how to get rid of them and I think I suppose how they got in. I have a hunch that they might have come in through our air ducts. I noticed that the fruit was left out in the bedroom near me, and I am just wondering if somehow they flew in through the Heating, Ventilation and A/C system, through the air ducts, and into the house. That was our going theory until I had a heating and A/C specialist come out and tell me that wasn’t where they were coming from. I later found out they got in just from the door being open too long, but luckily I have started putting out some traps and insect killer and it seems to be laboring. Their population is declining and I will be rid of them soon. It made it absolutely hard to get any labor done when I would have them buzzing around our screen. So what I do is turn on the fan to create some turbulent air, having our A/C plan on full blast helps with that too. Thankfully now they’re almost gone.
