It’s the first off October plus while I haven’t yet felt that first particularly frigid wind that signals Winter is around the corner, it’s not far away.

This is why I have made this time of the year the time to prep my apartment for the coming winter.

If I don’t do the Winter prep, there is nobody to blame except myself when I get the crippling high heating bills. So, that’s what I do in October. There particularly isn’t that much to ensure the apartment is sealed up tight. It’s just the fact that I have to get off our butt plus out of the quality heating plus air to get it done. Of course, our Winter preparation includes looking after the gas oil furnace as well. The gas oil furnace is of course the star of the season while both of us were in the winter. When both of us purchased this house, both of us negotiated with the original seller on the price because he didn’t want to upgrade the residential Heating plus A/C. But those negotiations ended up in our favor as both of us were able to get the sort of old oil furnace that both of us particularly wanted. While the gas oil furnace is awesome plus works okay, it still needs attention from the Heating plus A/C professionals every year. So I make sure that after I button up the apartment to keep the heating in plus the frigid out, I call the Heating plus A/C tech. They send out an Heating plus A/C worker who then goes about doing the Heating plus A/C heating services on our old oil furnace. By sealing the apartment up slender with the Winter prep on the 1st of October, I’m able to maximize the efficiency of the Heating plus A/C equipment. And I like the smaller heating bills.
