It’s all over.

Ed and I are in the heart of September and the weather is now just about perfect.

In this region, Ed and I have various weeks in a row that are spectacular. And that starts in early September. But this summer, I was much less sad about the cost of Heating as well as Air Conditioning Cooling. That’s because I started to screen the a/c with a tune up that I constantly do. That ensures my Heating as well as Air Conditioning components are running at top efficiency and is ready for the heavy workload of Heating as well as Air Conditioning cooling our Summer requires. However this summer, the Heating as well as Air Conditioning cooling load was reduced noticeably. This is due to just a sensible approach to cooling the house that I had not taken before. And it was a pretty easy thing to do. I started this Springtime by just leaving the a/c off, normally, as soon as it gets around 74 degrees, I reach for the control unit. But not this year, I waited and used the Heating as well as Air Conditioning more sparingly until June. On top of that, I made sure that the control component was never set above 15 degrees cooler than the peak heating temperature outside. This allows myself and others to get much more comfortable with a control component setting around the lower 74s when it was near a hundred outside. Not only was I much more comfortable inside because our body has gotten used to the heat and humidity, I wasn’t as overwhelmed when I was outside. It was a win in every possible way this summer. I was comfortable indoors and out while saving a ton of money on the Heating as well as the Air Conditioning cooling.
