I just recently purchased a smart thermostat and I wanted to save money and not have to hire a heating and air conditioner specialist to install it. Then the smart thermostat comes with directions to self install it, so I wanted to try to see if I could do it, I was able to! And I have to say I was really proud of myself for being able to do it as well. It was particularly pretty easy. I was worrying that it was going to be some head spinning complex kind of thing that I would end up having to break down and call the local heating and air conditioner company to send out a certified heat and a/c specialist to install the smart control component into my central heating and cooling system. However, this did not have to happen thankfully! I had the smart thermostat installed and fully particularly working with my central heating and cooling system within about a half an minute. It would have taken me even less time than that had I already understood the odd wiring and where it went, but following the directions and reading the manual is what slowed me down. But nevertheless, I got the smart thermostat installed into my apartment and now I am enjoying it very much! I like being able to control the smart thermostat on my cell phone from anywhere. It makes running my central heating and cooling system so much easier and convenient. I prefer my smart control unit!
