I will always choose to run

While I try to change up our style of workout from 1 afternoon to the next, running is 1 of our number one exercises.

I appreciate the simplicity of it.

I don’t need a variety of extra gear. I’ve purchased a good quality pair of sneakers that are designed identifiably for running. I experimented with several new brands before determining the ideal genre for our feet. I own 2 identical pairs and I alternate between them. This allows the sneakers to reform in-between runs and supply maximum support for our feet. I never run 2 days in a row. I assume that the motion puts a good deal of impact on our joints and strain on our muscles. I don’t want to develop concerns with our hips, knees, ankles or feet. On the off days, I stop myself with low impact workouts such as cycling, swimming, kayaking and strength training. I give our body a good chance to rest and focus on current muscle groups. No matter the genre of workout, I constantly begin with a lengthy warmup. I’ve l gained the importance of officially loosening up our joints and stretching the muscles before any exertion. There is less occasion of injury or suffering aches and pains. I make sure to thoroughly hydrate. I drink quite a bit of water before starting the run. When I go on longer routes, I wear a camel pack that allows me to hydrate throughout the run. I go through an extensive cool down at the end of it. I like that I can run almost anywhere. Whether I’m at home or on a trip, I can constantly find a good spot to jog.
