One of these nights, waiting on changing the air filter is going to cost me, literally. I have a terrible habit of forgetting to change the air filter. It is because I am a up-to-date homeowner & I am so used to having the landlord deal with all of my HVAC related issues; Now that I am on my own, I guess I just haven’t fully adjusted. I have the air filter change date written down on my calendar, however, I don’t look at my calendar that often. I use really fantastic quality HEPA filters to ensure that my lake up-to-date home is kept clean and my A/C unit, but those filters can only do so much if I forget to change them! Yesterday, I changed the air filter, but it had certainly been at least 5 months overdue. That is exactly what I mean, I keep accidentally forgetting & it is going to eventually mangle my a/c component & then I am going to have to pay the dreaded HVAC repair bills. However, I am not really sure what else to do except maybe mark it down in my iphone & hope that that might work. That & there is also the opportunity of the HVAC service plan. I have heard fantastic things about the A/C service plan, & a bonus of it is that the A/C worker will change out your air filter. But that seems quite high-priced when all I need is a easy reminder. I don’t guess what I am gonna do.
