This could absolutely happen if things don’t slow down with technology.

Based on what is happening to our society today, I have a prediction. I forsee the entire world becoming nothing but a single large PC! That almost is happening now. But, there are still some things that have a human touch, then such as a central heating and a/c. The thermostats are becoming PC, like with the invention of the smart thermostat. But still, there is something human about it. What I can see happening maybe 20 years from now, is that everything, including central heating and a/cs, will be alive and have a mind of their own! I certainly know that is a real frightening thought! Imagine if your central heating and a/c decided to have a malfunction, and was either over cold or over heating your house! You would not be able to stop it, you would not be able to control it, but you could possibly get killed! The only way to stop the thing would be to destroy the central heating and a/c with a sledgehammer or something! This is a tale straight out of some sci fi or horror film! But hey, know about it. This could absolutely happen if things don’t slow down with technology. I have not been a fan of all this advanced technology for this unquestionably reason. I certainly hope our little sci fi fantasy here does not come true! If it did, every one of us are all doomed. Worse than it seems at this unquestionably moment in time. Think about it.
