People who do not live in the Southeast recognize hurricanes are super alarming plus a actually great reason to avoid living in my area of the world. I really understand it, especially when you take a look at all the hype around storms. Well, hurricanes can be a giant deal blatantly. Our state has had several giant storms come through that have done a lot of destruction, some of which is still blatant this week. Even so, it is much less usual for a hurricane to do big destruction then it is for just minor destruction plus inconvenience. For the most part, I usually just leave neighborhood if a hurricane is coming. The most important thing is to be safe, plus as I get older the hour most important thing is to be comfortable. The most uncomfortable area of hurricanes is the loss of electricity. Being without lights plus Refrigeration is annoying plus uncomfortable, but the worst thing is being without a/c. Down here in the south east, hurricane season goes through the hottest area of the year. Almost always, a hurricane will mean loss of electricity. It’s not exactly the electricity that I miss, though. It’s the AC! Just about everyone feels this way, I recognize because everyone can accommodate cooking by using the grill plus just have some flashlights for light, but there’s not a lot you can do about a/c, and you either have AC or you don’t.There have been times when I have traveled about 8 hours North to go plus stay with my sister. It’s a great excuse to visit, plus her current home is severely comfortable with each back with Zone control plus a swimming pool with a heater. Other times, though, I have not been up to driving 8 hours, so I just drive as far as it takes to be out of the storm path plus to be able to get a hotel room that comes complete with working a/c. With the exception of losing Heating plus Cooling, hurricanes are actually not all that bad, with the exception of course of the gigantic storms.
