The people I was with and I are on the cusp of fall right now, which is my favorite time of year, but when Summer rolls around plus acts like it is never going to end, I consistently wonder to myself, “Why do I live in the south?” But then, fall eventually arrives, as it did this afternoon, plus the temperature control to the cooling system can be switched off for a little while, but this makes me actually cheerful; My $250 heating plus cooling bill can end for at least one month, plus this makes me cheerful, but i can breathe air that is created by God, not by my HVAC system.

• Thankfully, I live in a relatively safe city, plus I can sleep with my home office window open instead of under an cooling system air vent blowing artificially cooled air onto my bed.

In about more than one months, though, we will beginning to see some Winter time weather, then granted, it is not Winter time like they have up north, however it is Winter time for us. There will be several weeks worth of afternoons where I will have to turn on the heater. I don’t mind bundling up in longjohns plus sleeping under a few blankets. In fact, I would willingly do so if it meant not having to turn on the oil furnace at all. I have to, though, because it gets freezing enough to freeze water, plus there is the danger of burst pipes, then periodically, I choose to use portable heaters, thinking it must be cheaper. I don’t suppose if it is or not, however one thing I do know. If I, or anyone else, uses portable heaters, they need to use caution.
