As soon as the kids heard about the grand opening of a local HVAC contractor in town, they said we had to go! They heard they were going to have a couple of bounce houses including one with a water slide.

• On top of that, they were going to have live music playing with clowns and even free food cooked on the grill! Well, I’ve never been one to pass up on free food, so I decided it would be a fun occasion.

When we arrived at the place on their grand opening day, I was quite surprised at the large size of this place. I was expecting something much smaller, but this place was enormous. On top of that, the place was crowded with all kinds of people. I felt like half the town was there for the grand opening celebration. The music was pretty good and the smell of burgers and hot dogs had my mouth watering. We had some food and the kids played in the bounce houses while we spoke with some HVAC professionals in the building. We were able to see many different demonstrations of radiant heated floors, high velocity cooling systems, and other interesting heat and AC products. The thing that was amazing was that the first 2000 people who came out all got a free UV air purifier. I believe I was the 1984th customer and I was delighted to get that free UV air purifier. I also thought it would be good to make a purchase, so I bought a smart thermostat since I had been wanting to get one of those for a little while now.
